Bersih Or Not To Bersih

Actually i malas nak comment about this..it cramps my blog but i wanna have some say..i pun orang Malaysiakan. Tak kisah laa if our views berbeza tak mesti tak boleh duduk makan semeja kan.

Malas nak comment so kenapa perlu comment?  Perlunya sebab all plans for the weekends kena call off just because of the road closure.  I can't bring my kids to KLCC park for a brisk morning walk, i can't go for swimming class.  My kids can't go and see their grandparents.  I can't visit my grandma.  My dental appointment has been cancelled.  Even Iman punya PTD punya cancelled! Tak boleh pi tengok SSF sale.  And i'm late to work sebab banyak road blocks in the morning!!!! Tu yang geram ni..nak luah kat si Ambiga, dia sibok dengan Ismail Omar.  So sapa nak diluahkan?  Blog laa kan..

Orang yang organise Bersih ni paham tak this event can be intimidating for some.  My friend sampai nak go and buy rice incase declare darurat.  My solution for her?  Call DOMINOS pizza hehehe.  See some even have that kind of thinking so which means Bersih ke tak tu?  Does the "Bersih" itself carry justice to its definition?

I googled just now about what is the objective of Bersih.  In short as i read it "Newer version known as Bersih 2.0, it is still a coalition of non-governmental and civil society organisations that are collectively campaigning for clean, free and fair elections. (It is not a movement to defeat the incumbent government or one to support the election of the opposition.)"

Generally the objective is well presented.  Tapikan is it trully necessary to strike a demo simply for this reason? Tak cukup telus lagi ke pilihan raya kita sekarang? Rasanya kalau tak telus, PAS takde laa memerintah Kelantan selama tu.  Takde laa dapat PAS takluk Kedah, DAP takluk Penang, PKR takluk Selangor.  If that tak cukup telus, i wonder apa yang dinamakan transparent? Let me guess, when BN retires..then its called telus :-)

Tak berapa ingat tahun bila but agak2 12years back i jadi budak kira undi. At 4.45am, we went to pilihanraya centre, kat Ampang. Dewan apa tah yang on the way to Kg Melayu Ampang rasanya Kg Datuk Haron kot.  We went to get the black box, documents macam2 laa...  Kira buku undi ada berapa.  Kertas undi ada berapa to tally with the documents given.  Siap kena sign to confirmkan.  Polis jadi saksi again to ensure numbers tally. Then we were off to the polling station.  Yang pasti ada police escort.  Satu police naik same car and another trailing at the back of our car.  Serious betul pak police ni, senyum pun tak.  Rasa macam bawa duit pulak siap ada escort..i think SPRM takut orang hijack kami. At 7.00am dah ada kat sekolah.

Macam2 ragam orang tulis undi..i love serving the elderly..macam2 style diaorang ni, ramah.  Ada yang siap bawa kuih lagi untuk kitaorang.  Satu pakcik ni lagi best tanya i "Pakcik ni nak kena pangkah yang mana? Pakcik lupa laa tadi, yang dacing ke yang bulan. Tadi budak tu dah bagitau..tapi pakcik lupa". Hahahahaha...Jawapan? Mesti ethical "Pakcik pangkah je laa gambar yang kalau pakcik nampak pakcik suka!  Tapi mesti dalam kotak ye"  One time ada blind person datang. So yang boleh tick the sheet cuma ketua pengundi only lepas tick, yang escortkan the blind person boleh confirmkan usually sedara dia la.  Tak cukup telus ke?

Come to time nak kira undi, we will ask at least 1 representative from each party to attend.  Kalau tak salah paling ramai 3 per party allowed.  So dalam room tu ada 1 pak police, 2 budak kira undi, ketua pengundi, dan representatives from each party.  Satu lagi pak police dok luar bilik.  Ketua undi informs the rules, how we calculate and etc to all. The box will then be opened and all the kertas undi were spread onto a basket.  So i start angkat kertas undi and bacakan "1 UNTUK BULAN" OR "1 UNTUK DACING" OR "1 UNTUK BENDERA" OR UNDI ROSAK.  Once baca, i will turn the sheet and show to the reps for them to verify.  Macam ajar anak kita read flash card.  Betul-betul flashkan depan mata representatives. They're sitting about 4 feet away.  Once done, i pass to my partner yang akan put the sheet on the basket belonging to either the parties or undi rosak.

Incident-incident masa verify the undi tu memang a bit kelakar especially bila masa ada undi rosak.  When i say out loud UNDI ROSAK, kalau pangkah tu belongs to BN, their reps will just nod and say Ok, agreed.  Tapi bila pangkah tu belongs to other party, macam2 style they want to check.  The reps will come forward and touch the sheet incase ada glue purposely placed on the sheet or any sticker stick on sheet ke tak.  I'm not making it up..honestly this is what came out from their own mouth. Siap pegang kertas undi against the light incase the ink was falsely placed onto the sheet or saja2 kertas di scribbled. I'm not a BN supporter nor any other political supporter so please don't judge me based on this humorous writings.  Not bias, I'm just sharing my own experience ye.

Once the counting done, the box will be sealed and stamped. Masa tu guna stamp merah yang kena bakar dengan lilin tu. Lepas tu box diikat..masa tu semua reps himpit keliling to make sure undi tak terkeluar dari peti ..siap ada yang tarik2 tali box incase kami tak ikat properly.  Sampai si pak polis suruh bagi laluan for us to habiskan kerja kami.  About 10pm, we were escorted back to the centre.  The box will then be open infront of the same reps again and ketua pengundi akan bacakan total counts from each parties.  The reps are there to ensure the counts are registered correctly.  Once all parties agree, count will be flashed onto the big screen. By that time it was nearing to midnite.  Itu kira dah bagus sebab polling station kami semua counts tally.  No need to recalculate.  Mana place yang tak tally, masak laa jawabnya.  We went back at 4am.  Imagine almost 24 hours keja, naik juling biji mata.  Badan pun dah nak keluar macam2 bau.  Makan dapat 3 kali, breakfast lunch and dinner.  Allowance? Tak sampai RM100, rasanya RM70 kot..bila dapat? 6 months later.  So tell me sapa yang kena discriminate? Yang buang undi ke yang kira undi?  Bak kata Nabil, lu pikir laa sendiri.  Patutnya BERSIH tu tambah sket.."Increase allowance untuk orang kira undi".  Ambiga, please put this in your agenda.

It was quite an experience for me.  An interesting one which i will keep it neatly in my brain slot for a long long time.  So for someone yang dah go thru the whole process i feel proses pilihanraya ni HANYA AKAN JADI TIDAK TELUS DAN PENIPUAN berlaku JIKA
a) 2 pak polis yang escort
b) Reps dari semua party BN/DAP/PAS/PKR/BEBAS or apa2 yang bertanding
c) Ketua pengundi
d) 2 orang tukang kira undi
item a) hingga d) berkomplot dan sama2 menukar undi menjadikan milik parti yang membayar mereka-mereka ini.

Itulah my conclusion.

Sapa yang layak for me berdemo dijalanan? Orang2 yang betul2 tertindas.  Example? Orang2 yang rumah2 terbengkalai..yang dok bayar bank 4-10 tahun beratus ringgit sebulan and rumah tak juga siap2.  For me these people should go for a BIG STRIKE.  Sebab?  Its really affecting their life.  What they earn.  Korang gi demo, mintak government change the housing rules.  If i'm a politician, i will help these people.  Kesian, sebulan bayar rumah RM400, bayar rumah sewa lagi..last2 takde duit nak bayar kena blacklist.  Developer yang sapu duit diaorang dok sibuk build houses nak tipu orang lain lagi..Ni semua confirm TELUS punya corruption sebab rumah tak siap but bank release loan to DEVELOPER. Sapa makan duit?  Emm..lets get tv presenter "Kalau gaharu cendana pula...yang investigate .

Setakat BERSIH tu apa yang akan help us directly kalau kita join?  Tell me?  Unless you are thinking about campaigning for your own self next pilihanraya.  Itu logic laa kalau join. Buatnya u join and kena tangkap polis, dah ada record dalam kes polis.  U think the organiser will come and help you later?  Bullshit laa..in real life, no money no talk dude. Kalau takde bau-bau bacang dengan organiser takyah laa.. BUT If u think Bersih can produce wonders for your life and your love one, please join them.  If u baru tengah dok pikir sekarang apa yang you akan dapat, then dok rumah tengok ASTRO la.  Demo pasal channel ASTRO yang kita bayar lagi bagus.

Always think before act.  Sapa rugi? orang kita juga mostly.
I rest my case.

Good nite semua...jangan emo ye kalau kita berbeza pendapat :-)

Oh last one..i kept wondering over and over again..kalau nak demo jalan, tempat yang selalu diguna tak lain dan tak bukan masjid negara/jalan tar.  Eemmm....kenapa tak pernah demo di ikea? bukit bintang area?  di petaling street? kenapa ek??
