Hard Rock Hotel, Penang

Last September 2011, we went to Hard Rock Hotel Penang for our Aidilfitri trip.  Every Raya, we'll have family trips because that's the only time my brother is available to join us.  Noffal runs his own business so only during Raya, he's free.  Everybody decided for Penang because during Raya kalau jalan-jalan cari makan at other negeri, semua tutup.  Jalan during Raya memang quite challenging laa because of the jam, price hiked, kedai tutup and many more.  Even masa stop kat R&R, kami buat picnic because even nak park the car pun dah jamming habis. So picnic tepi longkang je laa...tapi imaginekan diri cam picnic tepi sungai


We decided to take ferry since its the first time for the kids.  Excited habis semua.  Kalau tak dipegang, ada yang scuba diving kat laut. Sampai je terus balun Nasi Kandaq Subaidah.  Headed straight to the hotel, my brothers semua syok habis because dapat seaview, initially i told them hillview.  Room was great for me, i got yang ada bathtub whilst the rest dapat with showers. Usually i don't use hotel shampoo even if its a 5 star hotel tapi Mandarin orange shampoo dia sungguh mengasikkan..


Jalan kat Penang masa time Raya pun nazak gak la.  Restoran Line clear pun jadi Line Queue.  Tak kuasa makan beb so we end up sebelah restoran dia..tak berapa ingat nama.  Tapi mak ai, lepas habis makan tengok2 lantai..nak muntah pun ada, berlumut habis..kalau jatuh duit syiling confirm aku tak pick up.  Loya terus tekak ni.  Kata orang kedah, "Melungai".  Dropped by kat Pasar Chowrasta beli ole-ole jeruk asam.  Malam pi Padang Kota, ingat nak makan pasemboq..alih2 tersemboq makan ala-ala fish ball, jam hiked! So last day we decided makan kat HRH je la..


Anyway these are some shots.. I would definitely come to HRH again.  Tempat yang superb for kids! Bawah 12 years, makan free.  Slides and playroom dia pun just nice for the kids.  Plus kalau your kids dah big enough, u can leave them at the playgroup and u can go and do ur own things.  Breakfast pun great tapi biasa laa walau ada waffle, pancake, omellete, beef stripes, macaroni and bla bla...Iman makan the same cereal dia yang dok makan rumah!

The kids had such fun in the pool sampai kami kena drag 'em out..no kidding especially Nabila!

Hehehe...tu laa sms yang aku send kat ex-maid aku, hangit je dia baca.  


Alhamdulillah, syukur Malaysia Menang lawan Indonesia di Sukan Sea XXVI 2011 beating Indonesia 4-3 via penalty kick at Stadium Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Indonesia..  Aku memang nak sangat Malaysia menang, dalam hati dok doa mintak-mintak 2-1.  I'm not a fanatic football fan...actually tak kuasa pun nak tengok bola tapi bila time2 camni yang ada game gempak, tengok gak la.  


Bukan apa babe, geram sangat dengan kesombongan geng Indonesia yang asyik dok boo Malaysia.  Ape hal yang dok boo, kita tak pernah pun buat benda tak baik kat negara korang.  Yang dok dengki sangat apa hal...Korang tsunami kami tolong, korang kena earthquake kami tolong, korang datang sini pun kami tolong supply keja.


Tapi in the end, aku jatuh kesian kat pasukan Indon sebab dengan tiba-tiba stadium kosong.  Kalau ye pun pasukan korang kalah, tunggu laa for the sake of team spirit, ni tidak belah terus.  Takde sporting spirit langsung.  And that what makes Malaysian so different.  We work as a team, we go as a team, we win as a team and we also go down as one team.  Malaysia Boleh!!


Anyway credit nak kasi kat captain Baddrol yang cool saja all the way and for the final kick yang kemas.  Apek pun outstanding.  Yang lain2, you did a great job as one team and kitaorang memang proud habis laa...


Siap bertrumpet kami satu rumah tadi...hehhehhehe...and tiba2 dibalas dengan bumi dentuman bomb belakang rumah...tempat mat2 indon lepak.. hahahaha

Doctor oh Doctor

When the virus gets you..it means it really GETS you. Do you get what i mean well..of course you do!  I was playing orchestra all the way for the past 2 weeks! And my whole family has turn into choir singer as well..


Scene1
Day 1 (tuesday)
Me: Dari malam tadi i demam, morning ni demam lagi doc dah makan ubat. Air asam jawa pun dah minum sejug. Sakit tekak and coughing dah kurang but i don't feel good sakit semua badan. Nose blocked sebelah.Temp around 38.5C
Doc: (checking my temp), tak demam.
Me: (lerr dah cakap makan ubat tadi). 
Doc: (check dada), ok saya bagi awak ubat batuk and selsema, mengantuk punya takpe?
Me: Boleh
Doc: Esok u makan sekali je since u keja
Me: Ok, so today saya nak mintak MC
Doc: Tak pergi keja today?
Me: (Doc, ko tengok laa time dah 11am, bagi pun ubat sleepy nak keja mende)
Me: Tak kot doc, nak makan ubat and tidor
Doc: Ok


Day3 (thursday)
Coughing non stop...blocked nose, sakit tekak semua ada
Me: Doc, batuk makin teruk, bila petang ke malam je demam
Doc: Yes, i bagi ubat batuk tu to let our semua yang ada kat dalam
Me: Tapi tak tahan, kat office lagi teruk
Doc: Yes of course sebab aircond.  U makan sekali je kan ubat?
Me: (Eh doc ni, nama pun bagi ubat yang sleepy, suruh  akan makan sekali kalau time keja, apesal yang tak kasi aku 2 days MC)
Me: Saya dah tak tahan, saya makan juga 2 kali tapi still teruk
Doc: I bagi antibiotic
Me: Nak MC today
Doc: (muka tak puas hati sambil senyum sumbing) Ok


My Friend (Another Doc)
My friend: I feel weak and this morning i have fever, i've taken some paracetamol
Doc: Oh..(checking the temperature)..emm.. oh only 36.8C
My friend: Can i get an MC for today
Doc: Oh no no, you can still work..only around 6pm, you will start your fever again.  Whole night you will have fever.  So tomorrow you come here, i'll give you MC
My friend: (my god! Bagi je laa today, esok i can work if i rest today)


Moral of the story: Nak jumpa doctor, kalau dah demam jangan makan ubat pergi time masa heat betul2,...baru laa they have some senses to rasa belas kasihan nak bagi kita rest at home. If not, they want you to keep coming. Mentang2 laa only they can produce MC. Hey, the bills aint cheap these days..Harapnya ada laa anak aku yang jadi doctor..emm..tapi time tu its too late for me to ask for MC dah huhuhu

Syoknya Korek Telinga

It happened to me yesterday! In my office!
This guy from another department came by to deliver some packages for my colleague.
He was standing beside my desk when he started drilling down his fingers@nails into his "sense organ for hearing and equilibrium".  I was watching him with amusement as well as amazement.  I mean how can you simply korek telinga infront of colleagues in the office? And the period taken was not seconds, it lasted a few minutes. Mata pun kuyu aka layu sebab stim sangat.  Wow, some people can really put on an action! This short film reminds me back to the time when i wrote Men and Taik Hidung.  The Male Species Have Never Fail To Impress Me.
