Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes
From Martha Stewart's Cupcakes
Makes 30 (Note: I halved this recipe and it was very easy, 30 of these cupcakes would surely be the death of me) I pun make half, i got around 24

• Ingredients:
• 42 cream-filled sandwich cookies, such as Oreos, 30 left whole, and 12 coarsely chopped
• 2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature 1 pound~454gram, i used 400gram pun sedap
•  1 cup sugar 
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 4 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
• 1 cup sour cream
• Pinch of salt

1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees (ni dalam farenheit, so about 135 Celcius). Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Place 1 whole cookie in the bottom of each lined cup.

2. With an electric mixer on medium high speed, beat cream cheese until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Gradually add sugar, and beat until combined. Beat in vanilla.

3. Drizzle in eggs, a bit at a time, beating to combine and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Beat in sour cream and salt. Stir in chopped cookies by hand.

4. Divide batter evenly among cookie-lined cups, filling each almost to the top. Bake, rotating pan halfway through, until filling is set, about 22 minutes. (Masa buat tak baca item ni so terhentam sampai 40mins sebab nampak tak masak2..but still it taste great even makan masa hot, another tray i buat at 22mins) Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Refrigerate at least 4 hours (or up to overnight). Remove from tins just before serving.

I think i'm gonna do again for AidilAdha coz sour cream ada 1/2 cup left.  This round i wanna try without the base, solely crush the oreo into the batter.Mmmmmmmm.....

Being Grateful?

I've been surrounded with negative vibes since last week.  It makes me clumsy, anxious, angry, blaming things, blaming people.  And i even shifted my clouds of angry towards my children.  So i reckon i should be looking for something fresh, something to get my soul boost and get going!

Today i was so angry with Nabila for emptying the bath foam and hand soap, bathroom baru lavender whole day!
Tonite, after watching the video,  i'm so grateful for her to be able to take bath on her own

Bengong Punya Jantan

I mean, i dah lama tak maki orang. Dalam keta selalu laa, luar dah teramat jarang sekarang.  Chewah, ada improvement dalam diri ni. Tapi last Sunday, i couldn't help myself! I just have to relieve but sadly lidah terjadi ice last2 dilepaskan kat cik abang bukan kat si bengong taik ayam tu!

Nabila was beside me washing her hand at the wash basin.  Since sinki ada more than 1, biar je laa dia basuh sendiri plus sinki tu just nice at her level.  Syok laa dia basuh sendiri, tiba-tiba ada malaun datang from behind her and wash his F**King hand on top of Nabila's hand.  Unbelievable punya moron.  The other sink was clearly unoccupied, yang hang gatai tangan nak basuh atas tangan anak aku apehal!!! Bangang, takde otak ke.  Ni laa masalah bila otak letak kat lutut and kepala lutut replace kat otak.  Even Nabila turn and look at him (agaknya Nabila pun cakap hairan ada species camni). 


Then I cakap "EXCUSE ME!" dengan sharp tone pun dia continue doing that and all he could says was "Ha basuh basuh".  Brain dead ke apa. Biol punya jantan..geram gila.  Quickly pulled Nabila aside and letak soap banyak.  Geli! Bencinyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bloody idiot! Sian anak aku tak pasal2 kena tercalit bakteria dari jantan bodoh tu! Geram sungguh that day. 

Lega Mak Bapak Aku

Finally, mak and bapak boleh tarik nafas lega.  The youngest convo today.  We had a photoshoot last Sunday.  1 hour session, dari convo moments sampai ke cucu moments jadinya.  Congrats dear sis.  Teringat masa my time right after the ceremony, my father said to me "Hopefully this will encourage your siblings".  Tragis masa tu... well i've done my part, bapak.

Sudah Jatuh Ditimpa Tangga

Life..bila datang ujian or musibah, sure datang bergolek-golek cam buah lemon. Last 2 weeks was Nabila, this week was Iman. Kadang-kadang i don't understand people, when your child is down with some fever / measles / viral skin disease or apa-apa laa...why on earth would you let you child goes to school? I feel its totally ignorant.  If nursery, i would understand but still wouldn't you want to take care of your sick child.  Ini tidak, habis yang lain infected! Of course laa yang first terkena tempias ialah heroku yang kekurangan zat besi, protein, B complex and apa jenis shopping complex yang ada.  Gerammmmm....grrr grrr..


Dah 5 days Iman demam, 2 times jumpa paed.  The 3rd time paed said "better masuk ward nak rule out denggi since dah 5 days". Letihnya bila i heard that.  I feel sorry for Iman, nak ambik darah,  pakai drip and dia pun dalam recovering stage.  But i need to be assured, it was not denggi.  And thank god it wasn't.  

I hate hospitals! The environs, the surrounding, the drips,..
You know staying in a ward can creates funny feeling.  Kalau one bedded room, toilet dia small je.  Ni masuk 4 bedded, pergh...toilet dia besaqqqqqq.   Ada 2 set for disposal of human excrement and one shower.  Then they have a big mirror.  My habit, bila terjaga tengah malam nak kena pi toilet, kadang2 takde keluar apa pun agaknya saja nak make my butt feel fresh against the toilet seat hahahaa...Anyway back to my story, bila mana terjaga at 3am, the mass of air surrounding the room was pretty quiet. I mean damn quiet! And with its subdued lighting.  So bila I sit, my brain starts to form mental images of things or events apalagi kalau bukan drama-drama Korea. Mula laa terasa ada tangan yang memanjang ke dalam toilet, oooooooo....Emotionally i was pretty disturbed! Geng, imanku walau tak senipis kulit bawang tapi ada laa setebal kulit timun. Huhuhu, seram siot...pastu terasa ada rambut panjang menjalar kat belakang leher dari arah atas...my god, tak tahan.  Nak lari keluar, malu. Nak jerit lagi laa malu, jalan laa ala-ala masuk Olympic, masa nak keluar ternampak gak kaki orang tengah duduk kat toilet sebelah. Went back to bed, boleh pulak TV tak tutup, TV3 tengah siar gambar bomoh and nenek kebayan...Sabar je laaaaaaaaaaaa

Hospital's Food, what do you expect? Healthy food mana nak sedap, tapi boleh laa cover perut yang asyik menganga tu.  Baked beans, scramble eggs, 2 breads and tomatoes with cucumber.  Of course my mind starts travelling to my weekend english breakfast yang biasa i buat, those things are on the list but it comes with mayo and mustard, not forgetting sausages, fries/hash brown, creamy baked beans which i added cheese plus instant coselaw..tiba-tiba saat melayan mulut and otak yang tengah proses my breakfast, Iman calls upon me...

Well there goes my breakfast in bed.  Inilah pengorbanan seorang ibu.  Iman, you better read this post so that you'll be ready in 30 years to come when i call

I was strike with horror upon watching this video.
I just can't wrap my head around the way people yang just jalan and buat dunno!
What a shameless society! Kalau kat Malaysia, dah penuh orang kerumun macam semut.


Some blogs posted it was all due to its "culture & what they have practice in China".  Tu laa nak lagi negara komunis. Sampaikan morals and ethics are left in the drain. Takde humanity, the government is slave of money so life is invaluable.  Yang tahu nak jadi kuasa besar dunia.  If they can sculpt their people to be of that one kind, imagine what they can do for the rest if ever they become king of the world! I wanna boycott china made product from now on.

What A Bad Mummy I am :-(

Nabila, 3 days in a row, 3 times a day. Days filled with Nebulizer.
I never thought my girl would need gas.  She was quite healthy for the past 2 years.
Hardly had any fever, flu or cough. So it came as a surprise for me when the GP said she got early symptoms of astma.  None of our families had it before so takde kesedaran pasal sakit ni at all. Tak pernah ambik tau.


Bila all these happened, it makes me recall how i had taken things slightly easy with my daughter.  Rasa bersalah betul.  With Nabila, i tak berapa mandikan with air panas, unlike Iman. Nabila doesn't sleep with a blankie and not even with socks on.  When I put on, she reluctant in the end i just forgo.  Hardly pantang makanan Nabila, why? She loves to eat, i didn't see any harm in it.  She sleeps under the fan and sometimes with the aircond on. She loves outdoor, main dirt is like playing PlayDoh.  Always love to main air, basah-basah baju.  Kadang-kadang tak berbaju sebab she doesn't want to wear.  Ice-cream selalu.  Orang minum air ais, she wants to chew the ice! Keropok Ikan terenganu tu favourite, everyday! I guess all those lil things lead to her early symptoms.  


Adoi terasa what a bad mother I am.  Perhaps i was too focus on Iman's health that i terlalai nak tengokkan si adik.  Sorry sangat sayang.  People, don't repeat my mistakes!

From now on, no more ice, no ice cream, no grapes, no oranges, no chips, no keropok ikan, socks on every nite, no aircond, no playing with water, mandi warm water saja..etc...Now Nabila is on Singulair, Butylin and Zyrtec for 21 days. Siannya anak mummy huhuhu..hopefully tak sampai ke astma.  

Frustnya!

Frust, tak syok, rasa tak best, ralat semua ada...
Last weekend i went scouting for land.  Me and hubby, planning to build our dream house from scratch. Nak dapat area KL, paham je laa land mana nak ada and if ada dah cecah juta.  Area dah cun perhaps in 10 years, ada rezeki lebih boleh la kami buat magic...tiba-tiba tadi bila received call kata dah sold out.  Adoi sedihnya, We're late by few hours je! Dah laa lepas balik scouting tu otak dah dok khayal nak buat kitchen camni, landscaping camana, bedroom nak berapa..., bathroom concept apa..berangan tak sudah alih-alih memang angan mat jenin rupanya! Frustnyaaaaaaaaaaaaa


Itu laa betul cam tazkirah yang i listen to this week, rezeki itu adalah something which u already taken meaning, yang dah di'makan'.  Funnykan term dia. Maksudnya, rezeki can be in any form. Let say duit di dalam poket kita, belum diconsider as rezeki sebabnya at any time, duit tu boleh menjadi rezeki orang lain perhaps keta kita rosak, so duit tu jadi rezeki mechanic yang perbaiki kereta kita or perhaps kita demam so duit tu jadi rezeki doctor.  Same goes duit dalam bank, andai kita mati, duit tu adalah rezeki waris kita.
In other words, if its not meant to be yours tak payah buat apa laa...menangis air mata darah pun tak boleh tukarkan realitinya.

Tahajud Cinta

Sana sini hot about this drama, i pun nak tumpang sekaki komen since sampai ada fan page Kami Pelajar Jordan membantah tayangan drama Tahajjud Cinta.  I hardly watch Malay drama..memang hardly and these days i only opted for CSI or the Food Network channel.  The first episode was damn boring tahap 0 darjah celcius laa..After 20minutes, i was already in my car keluar cari angin with the kids. Then came the second episode, boring gak i was practically searching other channels. But now every week mesti tengok.  


Eman Manan memang cukup charisma laa orangnya, lakonan mantap ada kelas! Thumbs up sampai my mom naik menyampah tengok dia. Expression great! Erma found the right pelakon, same goes with Seri, lupa minah tunyer nama apa Fatimah. Fuziah Ghaous tah.... I know lots of people yang blacklist this movie because reason diaorang, main pakai guna hadis seolah2 mempermainkan hadis, then ada plak blog yang cakap this drama potrays a bad image of Islam, shows Islam yang mundur, misconception about polygamy, menunjukkan sikap tak baik ustaz-ustaz pondok, menghina orang berpurdah, orang bukan islam have bad impression about Islam.  


Come on laa people, its just a drama.  Drama ni pun rasanya 98% orang melayu laa yang tengok, bangsa lain tak kuasa sangat nak tengok rasanya, diaorang pun tak paham hadis tu apa.  And siapa suruh dok proses hadis yang si Eman cakap tu! Ni laa masalah orang Islam Malaysia, banyak sangat menghukum dari melihat dari segi yang positif.  


For me Erma is actually drilling down on issues yang kadang-kadang orang tak perasan, its shows how women are mentally tortured, macam mana some women ditakut-takutkan oleh husband diaorang or sexually abuse even by their husbands.  Drama ni menunjukkan women kena belajar, educate herself so that women tak follow husband yang sonsang membabi buta.  Know your rights, berapa banyak bangsa kita bercerai every day? And also jangan terlalu taksub dengan orang-orang yang bertitle 'orang ugama' sebab kadang-kadang they make mistakes too. Then Erma goes on digging on what are the rights of wives andai kata dimadukan.  So those yang rasa nak bermadu pikir-pikir laa its not that easy. And dia go on by showing, semua orang ada perasan nak cinta and ada nafsu regardless u alim ke tak.  Its normal laa tu, feelings are given by God. Apa nak marah pulak kalau wanita berpudah nak bercinta. Salah ke?? Ada gak yang siap quote dalam blog ""mana ade lelaki yg nakkan hantu bungkus" menyamakan org bertudung dgn hantu bungkus".  Adoi payah laa kalau every sentence kita nak ulas satu-satu sebagai menghina, tu cuma halwa dalam cerita ni. Watching this drama doesn't make me think orang bertitle agama semua macam dalam filem tu.  Tak pernah langsung terfikir Islam tu buruk.  Cetek betul laa mind kita kalau fikir macam tu.  Itu laa, Islam ni tak sempit, yang dok sempitkan agama Islam is the people sendiri!


Nak kasi thumbs up to Erma sebab berjaya move on to another platform in the film industry.  Kalau tak balik-balik cerita orang kaya yang jahat tindas si miskin, cinta tak sama taraf, anak derhaka kat mak bapak, rempit sana sini, hatu raya terbang sana sini..yang kita dah boleh tahu ending.  All those drama/films yang negative sebab dok feed the Malay brains with the same thing yang lama-lama majoriti dok rasa kalau jadi orang kaya jahat.  Orang kaya je tak sembahyang itu, biar miskin tapi baik.  Itu yang buat bangsa kita slow, negative vibes surrounded je all the time.  Anyway yang dok komen tak OK pun sibuk dok tengok gak so kiranya OK laa filem tu he he he.. Salam Sabtu semua...lets ceriakan weekend kita dengan famili kita.
