Fashion Style, Whats in Trend?

I like fashion and styles.  Opps let me rephrase. I love fashion and styles, rephrase my aroha towards fashion and styles are endless.  These days however i have become less and less fashionita.  Uncertain whether its because i have a become a mother or because i'm plain lazy to chase the movement of the styles or i just could care anymore.  Somehow when i stepped into my sis's blog, it made me realized that currently i have no idea what is the current fashion hijack! How outdated! So as usual i started blog skipping and i managed to grabbed some location for me to track, its under my FASHION GURU list, help yourself ladies.  Oh men too.

These are some of the fashionita around the google globe, lets see whats in store!

A: Ok, i can wear this, simple
B: Nope, not this one. Too many overlaps
C: Decent and in trend, i'll wear
D: Nope, i feel like going to bed wearing this, cool for some but not me
E: Definitely me for working attire, plain Old Jane, boring huh?
F: I would wear this, but have to let go the socks
G: Nope, i will look messy in this outfit
H: Love to wear something like this but since i'm short, correct not so tall, it would not look right *sigh*

I: Its back to the 80's, can't accept it at the moment
J: Nope definitely not me, looks horror to me
K: Nah..not me either

L: Too trendy for me to follow
M: Whats with the bra? Superman vs Superwoman?  Without the bra, way much classy
O: Yup this is me.  Too bad im no longer the stilettoes girl

Harimau Malaysia @ Malaya Hebat!

Cayalah boys! Korang punya pasal esok aku cuti heheheh..thanks bros!!!  Esok nak pi KLCC shopping kekekeke.

First and foremost Alhamdullilah Malaysia dapat julang Piala Suzuki tu.  Canggih bomoh kita kasi pukul bomoh Indon hehehe..takpe next year they can always rent our bomoh..and the laser perhaps hehehe..Nampaknya strategi Nona Seksi Julia Perez nak laserkan eyes players Malaysia dengan boobs dia yang montok tak berjaya.

Special credit goes to
Mohd Safee Mohd Sali rasanya dia Score 3 goals for Suzuki final.  Not forgetting

Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, cekap lu tangkap bola mamat siap terbang sana sini lagi..

Puas Hati sebab
1. Permainan korang mantap, asakan bertubi-tubi
2. Mental korang strong walaupun asyik kena provoke
3. Fitness pun ok walaupun tak dapat berlatih fully

Yang kurang puas hati masa tengok game semalam,
1. Takde satu pun lintasan tunjuk peminat/vip from malaysia kat stadium, adoi memang media Indonesia ni berat 2 belah la..come on laa this is a game.  Bukan kita at war!  Cuba laa ada semangat kesukanan dan semangat kejiranan sikit. Korang punya kaum tengok bola kat Malaysia relax je, siap boleh makan popcorn, hisap rokok lagi!

2. Satu lagi dengan si referee tu, kalau team Malaysia asyik nak layang kad jer..hangin betul laa..

Apa pun Malaysia hebat la.  Keep up the good work boys.  Kasi gol kemenangan tu datang and datang lagi.  Tak dapat tumpang nama korang, dapat tumpang public holiday pun dah kira cun!

Nasib baik players kita naik kereta perisai terus ke stadium, if not sure tertembak dengan julia perez ni hehehe...Kids tengok one sided eyes ye.  Hubby aku pun naik terjonggol biji mata tengok!!

Zakat

Assalamualaikum Semua,

Dah bayar zakat?  Belum? well never too late. Siap ada online payment lagi.  Its way much cheaper than people selalu expect.  I pun baru tersedar bab zakat 2-3 tahun ni, before that memang takde awareness.

Bayar laaaa,  kan ke wajib anyway when you pay, you can sense the difference. Insyallah duit tu tak pernah putus and when you feel end of the month macam tak cukup je nak last for 1-2 weeks, miraculously always cukup! So adik-adik yang mana baru start keja, kalau dapat potong gaji better if not end of the year, ingatkan diri kita, keluarga dan kawan-kawan.

Fendi Savana Big Mamma Shoulder Bag

Last weekend ronda ronda at KLCC, send my bag to be fixed at Braun Buffel.  Then hubby said, ok laa take one bag, i'll give you as a new year gift. Haaa..yipeee syoknya..so i said in that case " Jom Jom masuk other boutiques".  Scouting around for bags memang ler syok.  Faves item aku haa!  I used to have heaps of handbags but these days i cut down 5 handbags and few dinner bags. We went to several places..this is the time to go in those places pun kan since its on sale.

We went to Marc Jacobs, Anya Hindmarch, Raoul,Tods, etc..then i found this lovely piece!! kat butik Fendi.  Wow...the feeling tu macam tengah thirsty and orang bagi ice lemon tea..camtu laa feeling dia.  Yang takde discount tu laa yang ditengoknya, yang discount tu takde plak yang berkenan.  Syok sedap lega semua ada...belai tengok punya best, calf leather..softnyaa..selembut bontot Nabila hahaha..then cari-cari tag..ha tu dia RM4500.  Ish macam melampau sangat nak ask for new year giftkan! Selepas tersedar ke dunia sebenar, i told hubby jom masuk Coach la, yesterday masuk Coach Sunway berkenan satu handbag ni and price pun quite reasonable even before discount.  Cuma masuk tu pegang letak pegang letak, tak sure whether to take or not.  Then when we go in Coach..huhuhu..punah harapanku, the bag sold out!! Adoi..sodehnya rasa hati. Balik ler dengan tangan dua ni je.  Takde rezeki.

Cuma i was wondering why on earth people want to invest on fake items? Dalam boutique Coach je ada about 3-4 people wearing LV.  Come on laa Fendi kelas bawah sket dari LV pun yang medium item dah 5K, so busuk2 handbag LV surely 20-30K. Kalau setakat kasut Lewre ngan bag LV, better dont laa people know for sure you're wearing fake item lagi laa pakai kasut Vincci. I remembered an incident at my office, in the lift going to the parking.  Both ladies are wearing same design of LV, just the color varies.  I knew both are fakes but yang buat funny is to see the faces of both ladies grinning at each other. You know the rules????  If you're rich, you can be wearing fake and people would not know but if you're biasa biasa je kadang2 beli yang original pun people ingat fake.

I feel we ought to buy things which are within our range.  Its an ideal option.  Kalau gaji RM800 pakai bag Vincci, kalau dah RM1,500 pakai laa Guess beli masa sale, lepas tu up lagi beli laa Guy Laroche then up to DKNY and so forth.  Sekarang ni pun bag Topshop pun ala2 cun gak.  Or you can buy those Korean bag online, cheap and stylish.  Hujung tahun buang beli baru.  Less RM50 lagi.  You get confidence by wearing/bringing the original bag.  Let it be a cheap one but trust me you can walk with your head up.  It definitely boost up your confidence! AND paling penting especially yang ada credit card, hutang tak tertunggak.  If not sepanjang kerja asyik dok bayar kad kredit hutang lapuk saja!!  Bak kata orang Melayu dulu, ukur baju di badan sendiri.  Of course this advise applies to me as well :-)

Note: My dream bag if i ever get filthy rich is definitely HERMES. Alahai dream on girl ..emmm..

Ni laa bag Fendi tu cun kan...browse dalam http://www.barneys.com/
pun harga USD1,400 so sama jer mahal lagi ada..tak dapat beli, dapat pegang pun jadi ler

Ni laa bag Coach yang terSOLD OUT!  But color kalau tengok kat luar lagi cun, its like turqoise ala2 smokey blue gitu..hai..takde rezekikan..

Gap Casting Call

Cehhh,...didnt know GAP has casting call for children.  I would have sent my kiddos for casting.  No harm in trying your luck coz sometimes the models bukannya cute mana pun.  Cuma nampak different dari yang lain.  Like this they based on vote so if you're friends punya fingers rajin nak click ur children photo, chances are high.  But i think if i asked my hubby to queue up for this, surely NO NO NO.  He sure feels
1. buang masa to queue up
2. bukannya nak jadi model pun bila she grows up
3. sure they'll pick muka-muka mix saja
4. bla bla bla..

My Online Shop - TotHaus

Did i happen to tell you that i had open an online shop?? Nope? Well now you know.
My first attempt selling things in the virtual world.  Tak rugikan try.  All this while I've been giving a big Go Go to my sis to start her online shop but me myself simply sit and watch.  She started a year ago and now she has 3 virtual shops and all are doing great.  So why not i try right? You should too.

I name the shop as TotHaus. Direct translation of a young child's home, Haus in german is a house.  Its currently located at http://tothaus.blogspot.com/

One of my dream is to open a shop selling baby clothes so i fork out a big amount of cash to invest in the shop, this could be the key marker whether my dream worth to turn into action or should it stay on as a dream kekekke...:-)

Yang bestnya bila dah open then i realise Oh my God banyaknyaa....online shops for kids and baby clothing.  What do you expect rite, sewa kedai free.  Well if you never try you will never know rite.  There's no shortcut to success....  Hope i dont need to close it down huhuhuhu..

Charity Begins At Home

I would say my father is a charitable person. He definitely derived this character from his mother a.k.a my grandmother i.e. Tok. My Tok is now 90 years old. She is a very generous person when giving out food/clothing to the needy ones. So thoughtful, sampaikan I can describe her as “Kera di hutan disusukan, anak di rumah mati kelaparan”. I can recollect in those days during Raya time where all her children brought cookies for raya, she would be giving away those unopened cookie jars to the neighbours pagi pagi Hari Raya. We didn’t even get to taste the cookies. Its been that way every Raya at Sg Petani.

After TokNek (Tok’s mother) passed away, my auntie brought her to KL, she continue doing her charitable act. When she cooked lunch or kuih for makan petang, she will distribute semangkuk to the neighbours. Semangkuk, usually can cater for 4 person. She will cover at least 2-4 houses in the surrounding area. The routine goes on for years, I’m not sure how my auntie felt since she needs to fork out more on her groceries. My Tok’s motto was plain and simple “Kalau makanan tak habis, rugi”. Even clothes, if she sees they seldom wear she will quietly keep in a bag and pass to my mom to be pass down to my maid. Some of the clothes are brand new with tags attached. So my mom will check and pass back to my auntie. Hehehhe..funny and the routine continues. Every Saturday, my auntie would go to Pasar Chow Kit and would come back with a hefty portion of veggies, fishes and meats. By Wednesday, if Tok sees a whole lot of veggies, she will secretly pass the veggies to my house. I think she doesn’t understand that my auntie bought that much of food to keep from running out when needed.

Tok would make blankets and pillow cases out of unused cloth. Whenever she hears any of her children/grand children going north to Kedah, she would pass these to her neighbours or relatives back in kampong. She even dried up nasi yang tak dimakan to be given out as makanan ayam to the villagers. Anyway I believe because of those act, her ‘rezeki’ always there. People loves to drop by her place, even now when Tok can no longer can cook, my aunt still gets numerous visitors. There’s always food on the table.

My dad following his mother foot steps, did the same thing. These days he dried up “daun misai kucing” by himself. These daun normally taken as tea by diabetic person so these days when he stumbled upon a diabetic person regardless whether he’s a total stranger, he’ll give the ‘daun ubat’. And he’s not a diabetic at all! Every Saturday when he came back from Pasar Tani with my mum, he’ll be waiting outside our kitchen to pass some of the fruits to the wreck collector. Even those who comes to clean the drain gets a treat from my dad. He once said “Nasha, you don’t have to be rich to help others”. I remembered well after he retired, my dad venture into ‘nasi lemak’ business. He would be sending his nasi lemak to few restaurant around KL and each morning he would put aside few packs to be given to the guards. I think he feels content just making people happy.

Just 2 weeks ago, we had a sembang session like always. He told me few stories and one of it goes something like this…..He told me that one day he passed by this boy and his mother. The boy was asking his mother whether they can eat at KFC. But the mother shrugged off the request because she got no money. He felt a burst of emotions but sadly he only got enough cash to go back home. So he returned to the ATM to fork out some cash to give to the mother. Upon returning they were gone. And he said till this day he regretted as he could give them. My father was holding his tears while telling me this story. He goes .. “So Nasha, whenever you have more, give out to the needy ones. Macam bapak, I really felt till this day as I cannot give to the boy. Because for RM10, I’ll finished off in a day just buy buying rokok so why can’t I give out. Sometimes with only ten ringgit, you can help change a person’s life”. And at that moment, I felt tears running down my cheek. I get what he means.

Bapak reminded me, if ever a beggar/disabled person hold out hands for money and if I felt like giving, just give. Don’t question the receiver’s intention whether its genuine or not. Its your intention that counts.

Now I have started off with my son. I made him give away some of his toys. He still couldn’t figure out why we need to give but I feel in time he’ll know the reason.

I am grateful for I have someone to remind me that along my journey, I need to stop and look at my surrounding and see what can I do to brighten up the roads along my journey.

Love you Bapak.

Photobook Dilemma

During the Kids Fair i had place a booking for this lovely photobook.  They had given out 25% which i think it was quite worth it.  Cost me about RM179, actual price RM238.  Good deal right!  Last night while blog skipping i came across another photobook website which cost cheaper and looked nicerrrrrrrrr...geramnya aku, cost cuma RM99!!! Now i'm in dilemma whether to let the deposit of RM30 or just proceed to pay another RM149 huhuhuh..stress..benci betul laa..I always said to myself, trust your instinct, i didnt want to take it earlier but since its just a RM30 why not kan...Serve me right, compulsive buying!!!

Azman Ismail kata "Saya Gay Saya OK"

This guy has become from a nobody to a somebody just because of one video posted on you tube.  What makes big is because he's a muslim and he publically announced he's a GAY. I'm not going to comment whether its right or wrong to become a GAY and bla bla....

The only thing that put some vivid stars up on my head is WHY IS THAT when you are not a straight @ heterosexual person you need to come out and make a confession? If you believe what you are doing is not wrong then why do you need to confess??? Is it partly because the world doesnt accept you of who you are?  If thats the case, then you yourself doesnt believe it is right which ultimately makes you want to convince the rest of the earthling creatures that you're on the right track.

My view-> what God has lay down for us is perfect.  He has created fingers for us to do zillion of things.  Thats just one example.  So if you find flaws in the way He presented things to you then you ought to find out why?  Unless you dont believe in god, thats a different story all together.  We are simply made out of what we decide we want to be.

My Grey Hair Is comingggggg

Last week i was in the bathroom scrutinizing my face when my dearie hubby popped out from behind and said..gosh "Your white hair is sticking out".  I was like aaaaaaaaaa....cabut cabut..he helped me to pluck and discovered more white bushes sticking out. Huhuhu...aaaaa...nightmarenya!  I told hubby perhaps its time for me to cover up.  Then he gave me one look and said "Ada pulak, thats not the right reason to cover up, betulkan niat!".  Tah kenapa i today i teringin nak browse gambar2 orang bertudung and i came across this place http://zleqha.blogspot.com/.  I love the way they potray the models.  Modern and classy.  If i were to cover up, i wanna get something similar to this. Moments With My Kiddos

Its kindda like a routine for the 3 of us.  Right after my Maghrib prayer i would spend about 30mins with my kiddos.  Sometimes we end up doing silly things together and most of the times we have bed wrestling time, hide and seek, singing, tickling time, combat and war zone time, little helper and many more that they could think of.  Today we end up dancing coz Iman tune to Hits FM and somehow the retro beat and disco dance is playing.  It was hillarious until i saw Iman doing this shuffle and legs up dance..i was like Haaaa..aaaa Whatttttt...where did he learn that from...I'm sure we didnt roll much of MTV for him..  Now where did he get that from and yang best he said "Mummy, come on do this.  Thats old style mummy!".  I asked him "Sapa teach Iman?".  Iman --> "Who else my teacher, i got a teacher remember"... Aik...i send him for Science Project when did it end up as "Who Wanna Dance Project!"

Nabila who joined us for a mere 10minutes, ends up with her climbing activity. I guess its harmless so i just let it be and watch her.  I'm just wondering whats so interesting about climbing the playpen and dropping yourself onto the matress and doing it over and over again.  I stop counting after the 7times.  Amazing how kids see things in their world.

MEN AND TAIK HIDUNG

Yes you read the title correctly. You may call them booger, snot, tahi hidung, ‘paysi’ whatever but kami orang kedah panggil TAIK HIDUNG, bunyi dia sesedap rasa.

Last Wednesday, the traffic stalled. Heavy downpour. Cars lining up beside, infront and the back of my car. Facing to my left, the Altis owner tengah syok korek hidung dia. Korek, gentel, korek gentel. Eewwww gross!!! Right side, the Wira owner baikkkkkkkkkk punya korek. Macam naik stim pun ada. Siap the head terlentok di headrest. Yuck! Left, infront of Altis, Kenari driver is taking the same action. Cuma, his action was short and simple but it is still disgusting. Looking up at the mirror, the car behind of me were also doing the same thing!!!!! This particular guy just dig and dig. And endless digging activity for him.

Hello MALE SPECIES out there, cant you proceed the activity elsewhere. Somewhere private. A bathroom is a good example. When you bathe, you can dig as long as you like! Nak stim ke, terlentok ke, nak calit ke, nak roll the snot back and forth by all means please go ahead. Its your world. Don’t show your obscenity to others. Respect laa orang keliling, ni dah kira jenayah mata tau!

Let me tell you a tale. An original tale indeed.

Location : 195 39th Floor Empire Tower,South Sathon Rd., Yannawa, Sathorn, Bangkok
Time : Afternoon
Year : 2002

We were having a meeting. Managers, GMs were there. The meeting room was packed. I was in the concentration mode. The mode was abruptly shaken by my colleague Hong Hong. “Quick, tengok Chinarong” and she giggled away. Focusing on her command, I take a quick look at him and ask Hong Hong “Why, wassup”, Hong Hong repeatedly mentioned “Just look at him”. My other colleague Prema was also trying to press down her laughter.

I take one good long look again at Chinarong. There and then, the opera curtain unveils the theatre. Chinarong, minding his own business, was rapidly digging his nose right infront of everyone. What makes the this theatre interesting is that, after he dig, he rolled the snot back and forth and thereafter flip the “taik hidung” onto the air. Maka terguling laaa molecule-molecule taik hidung di atas meeting table. The screen shot continues. Dah laa his nails were long. Just imagine, taik hidung will get stuck there! He’s really in his sweet small world. What a hillarous afternoon for all of us and it was also a big reminder to all of us  Never ever shake his hand!!!!

Till this day I wonder whether the other managers were so observed with the minutes or they were too amused to even utter a word of appreciation for the show given. Hehhehehe…

Moral of The Story: If you want to use the term "Mind Your Own Business" but the
business deal does not involved 2 parties, its best to do it at home!! :-)

Good Nite people. Its 2.30am now.

Description of Chinarong: Mr Lopart in Handy Mandy cartoon character

of coz the above Mr Lopart is much more handsome hehehehe...

If you had read my earlier post on Bandung, i've mentioned the Donatello shoes i bought.  Here's the highlight. Tapak kasut dia style kasut2 Clark.  Worth betul.

Kids Fair KLCC Convention Centre

Banners are everywhere.  Promo canggih! Email, papers, leaflets macam macam.  End up bila we went there.  Urgh..tak syok langsung.  Was there not even 2 hours.  Not much thing too see.  Books pun tak banyak jual.  Food pun so so.  The things which i found worth buying was the luna color pencil, crayons and the water paint.  Overall just 2/5.  Smart kids fair way much better.

Embbarassing Moments

Do you realize that an embarrassing /awkward moment for us can actually be a funny/stress release for others and a big saver for us? When we fall down the stairs or accidentally step into a hole, we feel hurt. Physically and also emotionally hurt if people are looking at us. In actual, when we are caught into that situation, I agree some people laugh but in the end they’ll feel sorry for us. They will forget about that moment whereas our memories lingers for days. Sometimes, it even got tucked somewhere under those brain cells causing us to feel shame, chagrin or even vexation and it takes years for us to dismiss from our hard disk memory.

FUNNY AND SORRY AT THE SAME TIME
I was in a training session where I noticed the trainer did not zip his pant properly. Felt uneasy and funny. Uneasy because I tend to look, well you can’t blame me, his shirt came out from the hole. So looking at it for time to time, makes me feel funny and wanted to laugh. But after a while, I felt sorry for the guy. I wanted to let him know by giving signs but of course that would cause him embarrassment since its coming from a female. It will ruin his training concentration. After the session ends, I wanted to approach and tell him. But again I feel he will be abased so in the end I decide to leave the matter alone. He’ll soon find out by himself or from someone else.

PURE SHAME – LESSON TO BE LEARNED
I decide that because months back, I was in the same situation, I was wearing a transparent black kebaya. I totally forgot to zip my kain so part of my sexy legs and undies were exposed!!!. Lucky me, it was on the sidewaist. I only realized when I got back home. Malu giler!!!. Just imagine 9-5.30pm, some could have seen and make a big joke about it or even worst snap a pix and circulate in email. BUT because no one informed me, the % rate of shamefulness does not reach the peak and by the next day, I forgot about it. On the contrary, if someone would have walk up to me and tell me, they’ve seen the exposure. I cant imagine how my next day would be!
 BIG SAVER
I was in a mall with my boyfriend. Ehem it was in the early 90’s. We’re at the cash counter. Was about to make a move when my was then boyfriend turned and walked back to the counter girl and told her “Esok, you pergi beli deodarant, badan you berbau!”. I was dumbfounded. I found it rude and unacceptable. Poor girl, she was so embarrassed. My boyfriend gave me one look and all he said was “Well, years later she will thank me”. I think so too.

AN ORIGINAL JOKE
We’re about to order our meal at Kenny Rogers. The waitress came by and I ordered, “Half quarter, black pepper. I don’t want breast!”. I never like isi ayam so I make it clearly to the waitress otherwise I don’t eat ‘em. My sweet friend on the other hand loves breast so she goes and make the order. “I want the same, but I nak BUAH DADA!” Hahahhahahahahaha…it was so spontaneous and all of us around the table laughed as loud as I can remember. She wanted to say DADA but somehow it just come right out of her mouth. Perhaps her brain still captures what I said and directly translating it. We definitely had a blast laughs that very day. All thanks to that sweet friend of ours.

Bandung Trip - Day 4 (Ending Part)

Ok promise they shall be no more part 1,2 or 3 for Day 4. Its D final day. Flight was around 3pm so we had to be there at 1pm. Where else to go? We decided to go back to Rumah Mode since its a 5mins walking distance. My last breakfast at Sany Rosa Hotel, i tried their porridge. Macam chinese style porridge. Ada cakoi + vege soup, a mix of carrot, brocolli, cauliflower, friend onion + chicken strips.  Yummy!

I think Rumah Mode will always be at the top of my Bandung Shopping list. The ambience, the scenery, the cosiness, the food, the clothing. They work like magic spells on me. I can spend hours in here. Pisang Moleh kat Rumah Mode superb.
