First Book By Faizal Tehrani

If i knew the content, i won't be buying it.  Why didn't you check it out in the first place!! Well i was so eager during the Pesta Buku terus grab saja.


Was it that bad? Nope it was great actually! Honestly! It was short, suspense and simple. Tapi since ada unsur2 horror which i make a pledge to stop reading / listening / watching so itu yang terout sket from my favourite list. Kalau 5 years back, horror2 ni yang daku cari. I simply nak baca benda2 positif je from now on..yang ada unsur2 horror yang i can imagine, i have to put aside.  Baca buku ni in 3 days time making me imagine things late at nite..Tu yang tak syok tu. 


I'll give 3.3 / 5 hehehe..nak bagi 3.5 macam banyak pulak.  Apa laaa aku ni. Anyway u can finish reading the book dalam sekali duduk if u know what i mean.


Anyway according to the book, it was among his first writings.  Because of that, kena salute sket.  Nicely written for a schoolboy level!

Most of his books kena cari kat kedai2 buku yang tak popular or online.  Somehow dia ni dah jadi controversial writer so its kindda hard to find his books..i got 2-3 more of his collection to finish. 

A Must Read Book for Usahawan Kecil-Kecilan

I got to introduce these books: Menjejaki Jutawan Senyap and Biar Kecil Asalkan Berhasil by Dr Rusly Bin Abdullah.  These books are totally inspiring.  Nak cepat habiskan baca saja. No doubt it focused more penjaja kecil such as penjual nasi lemak, penjual air soya and stuff but it gives you the 'kick' to move forward.  So kalau korang baru nak start jual barang kecik2 online..or pi jual kat office, jual cake ke..biskut ke or apa2 laa yg modal below 1k, read this.  Dia bagi semangat! Read with a positive and open mind. By the way, if u wanna buy, u got to go to the website..search for ameen..because its pretty hard to find them at popular/mph.

Sumpah Aku Suka!

I was hypnotized! I was in this land where i feel i wanna grab all the things..begitu la perasan daku.  Yesterday was my very first day attending Pesta Buku Antarabangsa.  Mak datuk orang macam semut..tu baru Friday, weekends sure macam sandwich jam and butter.  And somehow it makes me wonder sapa yang publish orang malaysia tak rajin baca buka???
Let me tell you, yang membeli semalam semuanya confirmed lebih dari 3 buku because at one counter masa i paid pun surely 2-3buku tu baru 1 counter.  So sapa yang nak buat stats pasal orang Malaysia tolong get stats from Kedai Buku then u can get the actual track, tak boleh simply based on pinjaman buku kat library.  Tu dah obselete punya style.  I even got lost in the building manataknya 4 floors and it goes from one room to the other not to mention yang dok kat tengah2 and sideways..penuh babe!  Antara sebab i wanted to go there was to subscribe magazine for my mom, mmg berbaloi laa..selalu RM140 now RM90! Then i was looking for books from Isa Kamari and Faizal Tehrani, buku2 diaorang ni takde kat most publisher, dunno why.  Controversial issues kot..anyway got what i went for. Lega! Workbook for school children ada yang RM1. Anyway kalau nak beli make sure cari yg 20% above setakat 10% tu cari kat MPH/Popular je la. 3 1/2 hours tak cukuppppppp tak memandangkan Friday hari sedunia KL jam and orang nak balik keja so nak tak nak terpaksa laa ngan berat hati i left the place. 

Almost all heavy topics.. bila nak baca ni huhuhu..buku bulan april pun baru habis 1, 2 almost done and 1 untouch! anyway have to force myself to allocate time, kena ada perubahan right if not life is stagnant takde peningkatan ilmu.

Initial plan takde sangat nak belikan my children books sebab every week dok beli dah but temptation la..tersadung gak kaki kat gerai2 buku ni..Ni one of my fave, illustration dia cantik sangat..for me laa..sungguh artistic, kalau matsaleh punya buku, camni dah mahal! Tapi it was just RM9.90 ada 20% off lagi...

This book was quite interesting for me sebab ada breakdown of Arab/Malay/English so senang nak tahu meaning not just for the kids but me tooo

This round i bought books related to our religion because nanti takut anak-anak i kenal Santa Claus je, parah tu! So i wanna let them get to know about the other prophets.  The tops books are from Singapore.  Tak sure whether its an introductory price but its like RM3.90 each..cheap with extravanga punya quality.


In short, i can't wait for the next Pesta Buku! I even plan to take leave!!!!

Baca Macam Kura-Kura

I love booksssssssssssssssss....I can stay all day in book stores..Masa time anak dara, i read 3-4 books a week! Those days duit poket tak cukup so most of the time, i'll rent books je.  Balik je from Shah Alam, drop by kat Central Market or Kota Raya pi kedai mamak, rent a book.  Sangat cheap, sampaikan mamak tu dah ready new arrivals for me. 


When Iman arrive in my life, i intend to make him love book so almost every week i bought him books.  Umur satu minggu dah tengok buku hehehe..overnya mummy dia.  Anyway these days i read books macam ala-ala siput babi nak move from Bukit Antarabangsa to KLCC! Lembab selembabnya...i dunno why perhaps those days the books yang i read ala2 fiction, romance, steamy mimi..horror..ye laa..Mills and Boon, Stephen King, Dan Brown, John Grisham...


Only these days i tend to read more on facts, motivational books agaknya ala-ala buku teks kot hehhee...of course laa when u come to a certain level, mind got to be improved! 


Anyway sempena Ramadhan ni nak introducekan one book Muhammad by Martin Lings.  The most book yang paling informative about Nabi Muhammad SAW.  I felt it was beautifully written in a most splendorous manner. Ling's work is brilliant and in itself inspirational. Lupa nak cakap, buku ni ala-ala Shakespeare..not fully classic tapi ada laaa time-time yang you'll find something like ...""Whouldst thou have better than that..., well thou knowest the distress that hath fallen..."  For me yang baca classic books 20 tahun sudah, quite mencabar gak laa hehehe..Al maklum laa English pun dah berlumut, nak kena kikis balik

Sticker Time With Nabila

I can’t remember when I introduce stickers to Iman. He enjoyed every bit of it and I have many sticker books around. It enhances their motor skills by pulling and pasting the stickers. Its another method of learning rather than just direct reading. Nabila started yesterday, she’s 1 ½ year. Was is too late? I don’t know but im glad she can paste although pulling out the sticker was a bit tricky for her.

I feel as parents we should just let our kids venture into apa apa je laa…we should not strict them to a certain age group. I remembered when Iman started on jigsaw puzzle, I always bought simple puzzles until one day I spotted him finishing the simple puzzle in few minutes. Gradually I picked puzzles which are above his age.

Kids are like sponge, they absorb as long and as much as they can. Amazing! So don’t look down on them, they are actually better than what we think. Of course we have to give them ample opportunities to show us.


With Nabila I felt terrible as these days I didn’t make time to sit and read with her. So this week, my schedule would be “Sticker Time with Bila".  I have many range of sticker books..from ABC to machines to nursery rhyme..trust me you should get the ABC, the first words.. better still, get 'em all hehehe

Lagu Kanak Kanak

Every night I will sing my children to sleep. The song can be my own lullabies which goes like…”Bila nak boom boom, Bila laa hendak boom boom..sayang….”, nursery rhymes or even reciting surah.

One fine day, my husband commented that I should introduce some malay rhymes nanti anak-anak tak tahu pun ada lagu-lagu melayu. So I visited MPH and gosh..its sooo hard to find books on lagu kanak-kanak. Kalau ada yang nice, its way too expensive for lagu kanak-kanak I felt. Cari punya cari I jumpa this one book. Cheap, nice, simple and clear. The colors are bright. Children pun easy to follow

Whose Nose and Toes?

My cheris love reading! How do I make them read? Well I force them hehehe.. forcing stimulation since the age of 1 week. Kidding? Nope im dead serious!

Masa pregnantkan Iman, I read a lot of articles on babies..so we need to stimulate babies the moment they open their eyes. In my case, it was a week because Iman didn’t fully open his both eyes after 1 week. Kalau bukak je, only 1 side. So right after 1 week, I started showing him flash cards. But only on colors. I did that every day till he was 2 months. Right after, almost every Friday I will buy him a book. He’s keen now. Ok stop.

Actually I wanted to post about my girl’s favourite book. Nak recommend laa ni. Its simple, interesting and nice. The illustration is neat and precise. And you can rhyme while asking them “Whose Nose and Toes are…?.

I got it when she was 1 year. Masa reading time, boleh buat sound Mooo..Auff..Auff..Aumm..Aumm..she will get familiarize with the sounds the animals make...Nabila belum cakap lagi but at least she can associate the sounds that cows, pigs, ducks, dogs, horses, cats, rhinos, elephants and monkeys make. Kira macam guessing game laa ni. Very interactive and fun. Musti BELI!
