Totally Sinful

I have to share this.  I'll be a sinner if i don't!
If i can do it...of course you can..such an easy piece and you won't regret it! Trust me
Got this recipe from Handle The Heat

Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes
From Martha Stewart's Cupcakes
Makes 30 (Note: I halved this recipe and it was very easy, 30 of these cupcakes would surely be the death of me) I pun make half, i got around 24

  • Ingredients:
  • 42 cream-filled sandwich cookies, such as Oreos, 30 left whole, and 12 coarsely chopped
  • 2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature 1 pound~454gram, i used 400gram pun sedap
  •  1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Pinch of salt
1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees (ni dalam farenheit, so about 135 Celcius). Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Place 1 whole cookie in the bottom of each lined cup.

2. With an electric mixer on medium high speed, beat cream cheese until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Gradually add sugar, and beat until combined. Beat in vanilla.

3. Drizzle in eggs, a bit at a time, beating to combine and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Beat in sour cream and salt. Stir in chopped cookies by hand.

4. Divide batter evenly among cookie-lined cups, filling each almost to the top. Bake, rotating pan halfway through, until filling is set, about 22 minutes. (Masa buat tak baca item ni so terhentam sampai 40mins sebab nampak tak masak2..but still it taste great even makan masa hot, another tray i buat at 22mins) Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Refrigerate at least 4 hours (or up to overnight). Remove from tins just before serving.

I think i'm gonna do again for AidilAdha coz sour cream ada 1/2 cup left.  This round i wanna try without the base, solely crush the oreo into the batter.Mmmmmmmm.....

Nite people.  Sweet Dream, Sleep Tight

First Biskut Raya 2011

Finally i made my first biskut raya! I got to share the recipe coz i find it sedappppppppppp....Its so easy to do! Bagi you all yang dah berkecimpung lama dalam arena kitchen, sempoi ala-ala cungkil gigi je.

So here goes..

Biskut Cornflakes Kismis
biskut ni dapat around 90 pieces, so i do 2 sukatan

  • 150g tepung gandum
  • 1 sudu kecil serbuk penaik
  • 100g cornflakes (dikisar kasar) i got 2 lil helpers to ramaskan je
  • 1 cawan buah  kismis
  • ½ cawan badam (dicincang) i bought yang dah siap dipostong square kecik2
  • 150g mentega  i used Farm Cows je pun dah sedap perhaps kalau SCS or Lurpark much better
  • 100g gula kaster
  • 1 sudu kecil esen vanila   terlupa nak add, but it still smells good
  • 1 biji telur

1. Ayak tepung gandum dan serbuk penaik bersama. Masukkan cornflakes, kismis dan badam.gaul sebati dan ketepikan.
2. Putarkan mentega, gula kaster dan esen vanila hingga kembang.
Masukkan telur dan pukul hingga sebati.3. Campurkan adunan  dan gaul sebati hingga menjadi doh yang lembut.
Doh dia tersangat lembut so i used spoon je untuk place it on the tray
4. Bentukkan doh mengikut bentuk kesukaan. Susun doh di atas dulang pembakar yang telah disapukan sedikit mentega jarakkan sedikit untuk biskut mengembang.
5. Bakar dalam ketuhar bersuhu 180°C selama 15-20 minit atau hingga kuning keemasan.

For me at 180C, 13mins dah masak.  Perhaps my oven comel lote kot..
Keluarkan dari ketuhar dan biar selama 20 minit sebelum disimpan dalam bekas kedap udara.
